You can also find many 24hours food places which caters to the " graveyard shift workers " or anyone who is sleepless and craving for food. Food is so closely associate with our livestyle that people actually greet each other with food. The chinese would say " chiak pa buay?" ( have you eaten? ) when they meet a friend. While the malays would say "suda makan?" which means the same thing. At the local hawker centres which is a collection of street food stalls under one roof run by the government. You will find people making a beelined for their favourite food. While queing they simply leave a packet of tissue on the table as a sign of reservation and people here acknowledge that the seat has been taken.
